Sometimes as a parent, you get busy and it’s difficult when you’re a single mother who has nobody to go to when you need someone to watch your kid(s). Parents love their children unconditionally, it’s natural to love them more than themselves but sometimes they’re not available to be home because of work. It’s a natural instinct to worry about who will take care of your child, especially if you have an odd schedule or if you have no close or living family members.
Don’t you stress too much yet though, there are some options for you and hopefully this article will give help provide you something that can help you. We’ll go over websites as well as local business that can help you with your kid(s) if you need a babysitter.
Your Options for Child Care
Now this website gives a list of programs you can enlist your child in and it has an option for infants and toddlers as well as preschool children. This is an option for you and if you called them, I’m sure they could fit your child into a program that could help you and benefit your child at the same time.
Now if you’re like me, you see the commercials all the time but I actually do hear good reviews about the website as well. On this website, you can post a job and wait for a babysitter or nanny to respond or you can explore those who looking to be hired. This is not exclusive to Tucson Arizona but I know a lot of people from here who used to use the site.
- Georgia – General Assistance
- Financial assistance for disabled single moms in Indiana
- Las Vegas, NV – Volunteering
- Insurance Programs for Single Mom’s kids in Minnesota
- Why Single Mothers Should Pursue Their Education
- Louisiana – College Options for Single Mothers
- California State Offered Education Grants For Single Moms
- Tucson, AZ – Military
- Colorado – Shelters for Single Mothers
- Las Vegas, NV – Rehabs in Neveda
Now this is for babies, infants, toddlers, and school aged children but this is another option. I don’t know anyone personally who has tried this but depending on the location you read the review on, the reviews show it has a high rating and according to the review, the children love it there. So I believe it’s safe to assume the people do care about the children and this is a good option.
Place: Kid’s Village (No website)
Now this place has no website that I saw but the majority of the reviews were great and the children seemed to really love it. This is a daycare so it would be perfect for working moms or even stay at home moms who might need a little break. This daycare offers before and after care services and child care services.
If you’re still unsure about these places, you can check with the yellow pages website and it will bring up several options for you. Just remember what isn’t good for one person may be perfect for another person but also consider reviews. If there are too many bad reviews, there may be reason for that and you might want to be hesitant of places like that. Takes reviews of former employees with a grain of salt but also consider what they’re saying because it may not be a completely bitter review but it may be at the same time. You just have to be cautious whatever you do but always do you research first before sending your kids to any place. You don’t want to end up regretting and creating more stress than needed in your life.
