You’ve lived life, you put your kids through schooling all by yourself and it wasn’t always easy as a single parent but you’re not done living yet. Now you’re looking to retire in a retirement community where you can relax a little more and enjoy life. Maybe you’re the child of a single parent and you appreciate everything your parent has done for you, and you’re looking for a retirement community for your parent where they can just enjoy life at. In either case, there are quite a few options in New Jersey and in every city. Now finding the right one is the task that can be difficult but thank goodness the internet can help you with that.
To help you get ahead in your search or at least to add something to your resources, I will list a few options for you to consider. If nothing else, maybe it will provide you with some information to help you in your search.
Stonebridge at Montgomery
Location: Skillman, NJ
This option has beautifully designed website and the retirement community is just as beautiful . They offer different styles of living and different floor plans to fit your tastes, not to mention they have beautiful scenery and health services if you need them. With an activities calendar and dining, that’s only a taste of what amenities you’ll be enjoying.
Location: Williamstown, NJ
This beautiful option has many locations spread out through New Jersey. It has a beautiful naturalistic scenery and kept up walking paths for your enjoyment. The community offers a number of wonderful amenities and you can choose up to three bedrooms. If you speak with the salesperson, you can even make custom additions to the place of your choosing.
Springpoint Senior Living
Location: Wall Township, NJ
According to their website, you’ll have unique experiences and you’ll create unique experiences as well with this choice. I do have to say I’m impressed because they do have options for you to plan your future and they do acknowledge some people don’t have a lot of money, which is why they have an affordable housing option on their website. Even if your parent or you doesn’t have a lot of money, you can possibility still get an unfurnished home, entrance to the entry way with a card access and transportation assistance to where ever you need to go if you need it.

This option’s main campus is located minutes away from New York City and it’s a charming option to consider. It has a warm and comfortable community and offers different kinds of living assistance if you require it. Not only that, there is housekeeping with this option, three meals by their chef, social activities for you or your parent to participate in and much more.

This option is more of a search option and lists a few options. I did a search on my own and got a few options in Northern New Jersey. The good thing about this option is you can do your own searches and a lot of these options include rating, and some of them even include reviews so you can see what experiences other people or their parents had.
This is only a tiny portion of what is available for you out there, so don’t be discouraged if you didn’t find what you needed from this list. There are many retirement communities in New Jersey, in every city for you or your parent, all you have to do is search for them. Don’t be afraid to search the internet and don’t forget to put your area in, and I’m confident you will find the community you need.
