It’s already hard enough keeping up with work and home, and keeping them separate from each other. One thing that makes it worse is if you’re a single mother and you have nobody to watch your children. Your family has their own busy lives and they can’t do it and your friends are also busy with work so they can’t do it. The next option would be daycare but you run into the problem of nothing knowing where to look.
Fortunately you have options and I will provide some options for you in different cities. I have looked at ratings for these daycares so every option I give will have a good rating. Keep in mind that while I will only provide a few options, there are dozens of daycares out there so if these options don’t work, you do have other choices too.
La Petite Academy
Location: Henderson, NV (Although they do have more than one location)
Now this appears to be a good option from what I can see. The ratings and reviews are good and the website itself seems to cover all the information you would want to know. It has information about their school as well as enrollment, information on other locations, and tuition. If you can’t afford much of a payment, they seem very polite and as if they’re willing to work with you.
Child’s Play Preschool and Daycare
Location: Reno, NV
This is another one that had a good rating. The website is fairly simple and straight to the point so you don’t have to go through complicated sub-categories to get where you want on the site. All their information is listed and their prices are listed under rates. They do have special events for the holidays that your child can participate in if you reserve a spot and it’s definitely an all around good school, according to reviews.

Carson’s Lanes Daycare and Learning center
Location: Carson City, NV
Now this isn’t the official website but it does have all the information. Now the reviews are mostly good and the ratings are even better. According to reviews, the children seem to like the place and the staff seem to go the extra mile for your kid. Now because this isn’t the official website, I won’t comment on website functions but if you have any questions or concerns about anything, you can call them directly. This site does list their phone number for you.
Small Steps Home Daycare
Location: Sun Valley, NV
Now I didn’t see many reviews but the one I did highly recommended this daycare. They reviewer stated their children learned a lot, including interacting with other children. This website is also very simple to use and all the buttons seem to function as they should. Their phone number is on the front page so if you have any questions, you can call them and voice any questions and/or concerns you may have about their daycare or payments, or anything else that may be bothering you.
Now these are only a few options but there are several daycares throughout Nevada and if these options don’t work for you, you can look in your phone book or go to the yellow pages websites. If a daycare is not for you, you can hire a babysitter but remember, a lot of daycares are willing to work with parents. So if one daycare doesn’t work out, don’t let it scare you off because I can assure you, there may be another one that will work out in your favor.
