It’s not always easy being a single mother, especially when you have to work and you have no place to take your child. It can become difficult to rest easy, knowing you can only take certain jobs because you have no care for your child except yourself. Fortunately Dallas does have a lot of resources and the internet does too, and I’m going to help you find them.

Now this is like a day care type of place so if you happen to work during the day, this is the perfect option for you. Now while I don’t have personal experience, I hear people have good experiences with places like this. Definitely do your research but consider this as an option and think about this.

This place will take infants, toddlers, preschool, and kinder garden prep children. If you have a child within this age ground, this is an option for you. They operate from 6:00a.m- 8:00p.m so this could be a good opportunity for single moms who work within that time frame.

Now this is another place that has good ratings and most people seem to like it. it appears as if their children seem to like it to and that is a good review in itself. You want your child to be comfortable no matter what their age is and the majority of the time, they’re young kids if you’re looking for care for them. This place seems to be a good option for you and it is something you should consider when looking at your options for child care.

Care.com is seen all over on commercials but it has said to help a lot of families all over, including those in Dallas to find babysitters. You can sign up for an account and either post a posting offering a job and look through the postings of people offering their services. Now this link is a link to daycares listed on care.com but you can explore the site for babysitters and nannies.

The yellow pages is a great place to look for day care centers for younger children. You’ll want to check out the place before you actually enroll your kids where ever you choose. This is a good resource for you to look through however and a good option for you to consider researching.

Now craigslist is one of those sites that some people like and some people don’t but it is an option. You will definitely want to interview anyone you may consider and I recommend only considering people with photos but there are a lot of businesses listed too so it’s not only people. If you do actually consider a person, meet them at a coffee shop first and then proceed further. This one is a tricky option, I’ll admit to that but it can also be useful too so it’s something to keep in mind while you search.
Whatever you choose, reviews are always good to look at and exploring it in person is also something you’ll want to do too. I’m sure you don’t need anyone to tell you that, after all, parents always have their child’s best interest at heart.
